Why WPL Mesh materials?

The format and aesthetics of woven wire Mesh material present a multitude of architectural possibilities.

Mesh materials can have the flexibility of cloth, yet strong or be rigid enough for heavy use, yet attractive, whilst all these materials remain easily maintained.

Diverse panel length, width, opacity and substance, make it possible to use them in a variety of applications and with lighting, this can either make the Mesh screens seem more transparent (back lit) or more dense (front lit), which leads to a limitless range for internal and external use. When applied as a Facade, the Mesh gives function and appeal, will control the flow of light, air or noise, protect against the elements: sun, wind, snow etc, make for a secure environment and give an attractive finish. eg: External cladding for concrete multi storey car parks.

There are many standard Mesh material designs and orientations available or we can offer an equivalent specification to that desired for overall comparison or WPL can supply (dependant on volume) to your own individual design.

WPL’s independently supplied Mesh materials can give a unique and dramatic effect to a typical or original building installation. WPL can supply quality architectural Mesh ‘Materials Only’ or a ‘Design & Build’ proposal, including technical assistance, fabrication and installation by fully qualified riggers, always working in close cooperation with both the main and any associated sub contractors.

Stainless steel is the usual desired choice in architecture, due to its longevity, but often, WPL can offer architectural Mesh created from other materials, such as Copper, Brass, Bronze, coated galvanized or synthetic products.

While WPL materials can comply with most Designers imagination’s or Architects demands, they require little maintenance, are recyclable and offer an extensive service life.

WPL supply material size in widths up to 6 meters and the length is limited only by its handling.

All WPL materials are produced to order, which not only keeps waste and energy levels to a minimum, but the overall cost to the end customer.
